Another word on Clowns.

This dude told me this terrifying story, tell me what you think of it. He swears every word is true.

This girl that he knows was babysitting for friends of her parents. After putting the children to sleep, she became increasingly freaked out by this life-sized Clown-doll by the bed. So much so that she phoned the parents of the children after a while, hoping to get permission to move it somewhere else, since it was so big and so freaky. The parents were horrified. They told her to immediately take the children and get out of the house. Why? She asked. They replied: We don't have a life-sized Clown-doll!

She apparantly phoned the police and later on they discovered that it was a neighbourhood crazy, who liked to dress up as a clown and climb into people's houses through the window.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

Yucky ickey Clowns!

Ok. In other news, I'm going away for a few days to see my family in Ballito. Hopefully I will have lots of quality time with them and my cat. Unfortunately, I have to edit this one dude's masters dissertation and find time somewhere to study for my semester tests. Oi! My life sure sucks somethimes. Just kidding. I'm pretty happy in general - that is, when there are no clowns! I'll be even happier when I get a job. Hold thumbs!

it's the kind of story you'd tell around the campfire to keep the boyscouts out of dreamland..

which reminds me of a story we used to tell.. but the plot eludes me at the moment..

it featured people sitting in a car. a serial killer on the loose.. and the punchline was "drip.. drip.. drip.."

Do you know what I'm on about?

First time visiting your blog. You know me but I'll leave you to figure out who I am.

Wow. I don't like dolls. Not only clown dolls that turn out to psychos, but just dolls in general. I just don't like eyes that aren't alive. So your story would have pretty much freaked me out with alternative endings.

I hate dolls too. Those beady little eyes... Blegh!

Hey! It's unfair to keep a secret like your identity from me, especially if you know who I am. Come on, reveal thyself Spectre!

Oh, Lu,

No, I don't know what you are on about. Never heard a story with drip, drip, drip being the punchline. Sounds scary though, you can thank your lucky stars that you never told me that one!

Sorry I'm not giving. And correct me if I'm wrong but drip drip..sitting in a car? Urban legend much? It rings a bell.

Why do these "guess guess who I am" people continuously find their way to your blog? If only these screens were scratch 'n sniff..

to mystery guest number 4.. yeah.. it's some urban legend story.. but told around Voortrekker campfires. Any takers yet? I have been revisiting so much of my past recently. Being asked questions like "why is there a harp in Jack and the beanstalk?".

There's a harp? In answer to the other question, weirdos are always after me. I'm irresistable!

Yah dude. There's a harp. A talking harp, nogal. It is the harp that starts screaming when Jack steals the giant's posessions, thereby waking the giant from his slumber. And the chase ensues.
